Flora Expeditions is a Costa Rican “PURA VIDA” family business. This small company just started in 2022 providing transportation services and airport shuttles in Guanacaste; however, the company’s background is much more than that.

Beaches
Guanacaste has some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, along with the fact that the weather is always great, these create the perfect conditions for practicing different activities, such as surfing, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or just relax and get the perfect tan. The most popular beaches are Tamarindo, Flamingo, Coco, the Papagayo gulf, and many more pristine beaches located along the north Pacific coast.
Volcanoes
This region has the stunning Guanacaste volcanic mountain range, it comprises 5 main volcanic cones such as the Orosí-Cacao, Rincón de la Vieja, Tenorio, Miravalles and Arenal. Also, there are several volcanic formations, such as the Cañas Dulces domes and the Chato hill, which are surrounded by wonderful forest and breathless waterfalls.
Culture
Guanacaste is the cradle of folklore, based on its stories of hardworking people, music, and the use of special instruments such as the marimba and the quijongo, traditional dances such as Punto Guanacaste, the gastronomy based in corn products like Arroz de Maiz and Tortillas, the cattle farms, and the culture of the farm life in the countryside. Guanacaste has one of the five Blue Zones around the world, in the Nicoya Peninsula, people mentioned that the blue zone arose in Guanacaste due to the vivid culture of the Guanacastecos and their humble but rich life style and customs.
